Christine L. Senkowski (Welton)
Christine graduated magna cum laude in the top five percent of her class at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, earning numerous Certificates of Merit while there. She also served on Law Review; competed on two national Moot Court teams; completed an externship at the Michigan Court of Appeals for the former Chief Judge, the Honorable William B. Murphy; and worked as an instructor and tutor for the law school's Academic Resource Center.
Before law school, Christine was a paralegal for many years in Northern Michigan and completed an externship at the 13th Circuit Court in Grand Traverse County for the Honorable Thomas G. Power. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Paralegal Studies from Davenport University. Having started her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, she will always be a Wolverine—Go Blue!
She has been active in the community through her service on various non-profit boards as well as her volunteerism at Gilda’s Club, where she provides a monthly Ask the Lawyer session for members with legal questions.
Christine lives in Rockford with her husband, Kirk; between them they have seven children and three grandchildren. Aside from spending quality time with family and friends, she also enjoys traveling, houseplants, aquariums, reading, genealogy, photography, hiking, visiting lighthouses, and exploring the natural beauty that surrounds us—Michigan’s Drummond Island is a favorite!
